One can go for beech lookout where one can see the ancient rainforest of Antarctic beech at the Georges Creek’s headquarters. One will come across white gums in the in the adjoining forests which are one of the tallest trees of the state. Nearby Georges Junction and Wattle Flat offer campsites and a safe base to relish the tranquil forest drives by the remote ranges.

70 km to the east of Armidale and 70 km south west of Dorrigo. The Styx Forest Way coils through the park via the Wollomombi Kempsey Road and Point Lookout Road.
