Location- The sanctuary is situated is situated among the cardamom hill ranges in the district of Idduki. It is around 4kms from the town of Kumily and around 114kms from Kottayam.
Area covered- The sanctuary covers an area of 77,700ha.
Time to Visit- The time period between the months of September to May is the ideal time for visiting the sanctuary.
